BSMP Warranty Policy

Big Sky Mountain Products is built on value, reliability, and durability above all else. We stand behind the quality of our skins and will repair or replace any piece of equipment in the unlikely case that you receive a defective product.

Big Sky Mountain Products skin connectors are covered under a lifetime warranty, and should a connector break the buyer should contact us directly with proof of purchase and a photo for proof of the defect in order to receive a replacement.

We will repair or replace any defective skins if contacted by the original buyer or recipient within two years of the purchase date. If the buyer discovers a covered defect such as defective glue or a faulty skin lamination, the buyer shall contact Big Sky Mountain Products directly with proof of purchase and a photo as proof of the defect. Glue warranties will be reglued and returned to customer before being replaced. After two years has passed since date of purchase, all climbing skin and accessory (with the exclusion of connectors) liability held by Big Sky Mountain Products shall terminate.

Big Sky Mountain Products does not warranty against normal wear and tear, modifications or alterations, improper use, improper maintenance, accident, misuse, negligence, or damage. Normal wear and tear includes but is not limited to worn down plush, scratched plush, glue migration within reason, and too much dog hair in your glue. Improper maintenance includes but is not limited to failure to dry your skins after use resulting in saturated skin glue. Improper use includes but is not limited to glue peel due to skin application to un-waxed or improperly tuned skis or snowboards. We shall not be liable for damages arising out of, or resulting from the use of our products.
